Formerly the headquarters of the Commercial Bank, the Craiova City Hall was inaugurated in 1916. Built in the Neo-Romanian style by Constantin Iotzu, a disciple of the great architect Ion Mincu, the edifice is decorated with stained glass and mosaic work of high artistic value.
